How to submit samples

Samples can be mailed to Mobile DNA Elements, or can be brought to the mobile laboratory.  Please call for the current location of the laboratory.

Shipping methods will vary depending upon your sample types, quantity, and the current location of the mobile laboratory.

Generally a piece of plant tissue about the size of a hole punch is plenty of tissue for DNA isolation and testing.  Plant tissue can usually be shipped in a baggie with a moist paper towel.   

Samples of known genetically modified plants are not accepted because testing of these plants is not allowed by outside laboratories under the patent and user agreements.
